Video installation / Theatrical performance - 13 videos - 2 installations - 1 performance - 3 texts

Shadow is a video installation accompanied by three texts and an experimental theatrical performance. This project explores the identity of the contemporary individual faced with solitude and confinement, through a fictional character.

It is a dematerialized research laboratory where dramatic and visual writing emerges from buried fantasies to give birth to a hybrid being.

It is the story of Amal, who one day decided never to leave her room again. Shadow is the step-by-step dissolution of the very notion of being—disappearing from the human world, gradually shedding all imposed or learned layers. The idea is to disguise oneself, to rebuild oneself, and to accept surviving through the creation of another Self—an improved version, a virtual being.

Live, we will witness Amal's transformation into Alma, an avatar invited into the real world.
